FILYBIJOUX jewels are a timeless investment. For this reason we have decided to provide you with some useful tips on how to take care and maintain your FILYBIJOUX jewelry:
Brightness preservation :
All FILYBIJOUX jewels are in 925 silver and treated with a galvanic bath that gives it brightness. Fogging is a natural process that can be cleaned.
Exposure to certain chemicals or harsh environments can compromise the integrity of your jewelry such as sweat, perfumes, detergents, chlorine and salt water.
Cleaning the jewelry:
If your sterling silver and gold-plated jewelry has become dull, an eyeglass or silver polishing cloth is a great tool to make it shine again. However, it will not remove the scratches.
Silver Jewelry : Pour a small amount of mild soap into warm water and use a small, soft toothbrush to clean the jewelry.
Gold Plated : Gold- plated jewelry requires extra care. Very heavy use of the toothbrush can cause the gold plating to fade, so it is very important to do this process very carefully to prevent the gold plating from fraying.
How to store your jewelry:
Jewelry should be stored away from direct sunlight and heat, in a protective jewelry box or our cotton pouch. Never use polyvinyl plastic bags or rubber containers as they contain sulfur compounds which may oxidize sterling silver faster and turn it black.
Do not store jewelry in humid places.
Do not place Filybijoux jewels near other jewels that are not silver or gold as this could cause blackening.

Gold-plated pieces are naturally more fragile and can lose their color over time. How quickly the gold plating wears off will depend on multiple variables from the chemicals used for skin care, the level of sweating, or even the skin's natural PH. For this reason, it is especially important to take good care of your gold-plated jewelry.

Tutti i gioielli FILYBIJOUX sono in argento 925 e trattati con un bagno galvanico che ne conferisce luminosità. L'appannamento è un processo naturale che può essere pulito.
L'esposizione a determinate sostanze chimiche o ambienti aggressivi può compromettere l'integrità dei tuoi gioielli come ad esempio sudore, profumi, detergenti, cloro e acqua salata.
Pulire i gioielli:
Se i tuoi gioielli in argento sterling e placcato oro sono diventati opachi, un panno per gli occhiali o per lucidare l'argento sono un ottimo strumento per farlo brillare di nuovo. Tuttavia, non rimuoverà i graffi.
Gioielli in argento: Versare una piccola quantità di sapone neutro in acqua tiepida e utilizzare uno spazzolino da denti piccolo e morbido per pulire i gioielli.
Placcato oro: i gioielli placcati in oro richiedono maggiore cura. L'uso molto intenso dello spazzolino da denti può causare lo sbiadimento della placcatura in oro, quindi è molto importante eseguire questo processo con molta attenzione per evitare che la placcatura in oro si logori.

Come conservare i tuoi gioielli:
I gioielli devono essere conservati lontano dalla luce solare diretta e dal calore, in un portagioie protettivo o nel nostro sacchetto in cotone. Non utilizzare mai sacchetti di plastica in polivinile o contenitori in gomma poiché contengono composti di zolfo che potrebbero ossidare l'argento sterling più velocemente e farlo diventare nero.
Non conservare i gioielli in luoghi umidi.
Non mettere i gioielli Filybijoux vicino ad altri gioielli che non siano in argento o oro poichè questo potrebbe causare l’annerimento.

FILYBIJOUX non garantisce che i suoi gioielli placcati in oro dureranno per sempre.
I pezzi placcati in oro sono per natura più fragili e possono perdere il loro colore nel tempo. La velocità con cui la placcatura in oro svanisce dipenderà da molteplici variabili dai prodotti chimici utilizzati per la cura della pelle, dal livello di sudorazione o persino dal PH naturale della pelle. Per questo motivo, è particolarmente importante prendersi cura dei propri gioielli placcati in oro.
